6/15 Green Harvest Festival – October 13-14 from 11am till dusk – plant sale, music, fun!

6/15 Green, a lively community garden located at 6th Avenue and 15th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn, will hold its annual Fall Plant Sale from 11-4 on Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th. A wide array of hardy herbs, perennials and indoor plants will be available for your garden bed, planter or window sill. For holiday fun, there will be lots of unusual gourds & pumpkins for sale, too.

Remaining plants will continue to be available for sale during the garden’s Open Hours from October 16th through October 21st. (Tuesday & Thursday from 4-6 and Saturday & Sunday from 10-6)

All sales help cover the expenses of maintaining the garden as a vibrant urban oasis.

6/15 Green will also host its wonderful annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 13th from 11-dusk. The rain date is Sunday, October 14th. Festival highlights will include live music and family activities throughout the day.

All of 6/15 Green’s events are part of its mission to provide cultural and educational activities that strengthen its community. The public, neighbors and friends are warmly invited to visit this lovely, permanent Land Trust garden throughout the year. It’s a welcome respite from the City’s hubbub that continues to bring its community together.

6/15 Green is a 501 ( c ) 3 organization, and contributions are tax-deductible. Donations are welcome! Visit 615green.org for more information about the garden and upcoming events.
6/15 Green is a proud founding member of the Brooklyn Alliance of Neighborhood Gardens Land Trust (BANG). See banglandtrust.org for more information.
